Take the TTC to Canada Day events across the city

Toronto is gearing up for a busy Canada Day with celebrations all across the city, and the TTC is ready to take you wherever you’re heading!
Canada Day Holiday Service
The TTC will operate on a holiday schedule on Wednesday, July 1. All routes will follow Sunday service hours, starting earlier at approximately 6 a.m. There are no planned closures on Canada Day. Regular service resumes on Thursday, July 2.
The TTC’s Customer Service Centre will be closed for Canada Day on Wednesday, July 1. This closure includes Customer Service, Customer Information, the Customer Service Centre Office, the Lost Articles Office at Bay Station, the Photo ID Centre at Bathurst Station, and the @TTChelps account on X. Regular hours will resume on Thursday, July 2.

Canada Day events
There are tons of fireworks, festivals and celebrations happening across the city this Canada Day and the TTC can get you there.
Enhanced service to Woodbine Park and Ashbridges Bay
The TTC will be increasing bus service on the 22 Coxwell and 92 Woodbine South buses from Wednesday, July 1 at 11:30 a.m. to Thursday, July 2 at 12:15 a.m.
The 22 Coxwell bus will be extended south on Coxwell Avenue and east on Lake Shore Boulevard to connect with Woodbine Beach for Canada Day celebrations and fireworks.

Canada Day Celebration at Amesbury Park – 10 a.m. until late

To get there, take Line 5 to Keelesdale Station, then take the 41 Keele or 941 Keele Express bus northbound to Keele Street at Lawrence Avenue West and head west on Lawrence Avenue West to the park.

East York Canada Day Festival and Parade – 10:30 a.m. until late
Parade starts at Dieppe Park, 455 Cosburn Avenue – 10:30 a.m.
- To get there, take Line 2 to Coxwell Station, then take the 70 O’Connor bus northbound to Coxwell Avenue at Cosburn Avenue and head west on Cosburn Avenue to the park.
Festival continues at Stan Wadlow Park, 373 Cedarvale Avenue – 11 a.m. until late
- To get there, take Line 2 to Woodbine Station, then take the 91 Woodbine bus northbound to Woodbine Avenue at Bracebridge Avenue North Side and head east to the park.
