Public meetings
Meetings are held regularly to review policy and operating matters of the Toronto Transit Commission.
ACAT was established as an advisory committee of the TTC to provide a mechanism for ongoing public participation in accessible transportation in the City of Toronto on a voluntary basis.
The Audit, Finance and Risk Management Committee (formerly the Audit & Risk Management Committee and Audit Committee) assists the TTC Board in overseeing finance and financial reporting, internal controls, enterprise asset management, enterprise risk management, and ethical and legal compliance. The Committee also provides oversight of audit functions, reviews significant financial matters, and monitors the TTC’s Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Toronto.
The TTC Board meet to review policy, operations, strategy and resources.
The People, Culture and Governance Committee (formerly the Human Resources Committee) assists the TTC Board in overseeing labour relations, compensation, succession planning, organizational culture, and health and safety, including access, equity and inclusion. The Committee establishes performance objectives for the CEO and conducts the annual CEO performance evaluation, promotes ethical conduct among employees and Board members, and supports effective Board governance through oversight of governance structures, processes, and reporting.
