Weekend service changes


Friday, October 3 to Sunday, October 5, 2025

Toronto is set for a vibrant weekend with concerts, festivals, sports and exhibitions happening across the city. Whether you're heading to Nuit Blanche, the Blue Jays playoff games or the CIBC Run for the Cure, the TTC can help you get there!

Here is what you need to know:

Nuit Blanche

The annual Nuit Blanche all-night contemporary art festival is back this weekend from October 4-5 transforming Toronto’s downtown with immersive installations and performances.

Nuit Blanche begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 4 and concludes at 7 a.m. on Sunday, October 5.

Here is what you need to know:

  • Subway service will be extended between 1:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Sunday, October 5 with Line 1 (Yonge-University), Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) and Line 4 (Sheppard) operating overnight. Trains will arrive approximately every 15 minutes.
  • All subway stations will remain open overnight, and Blue Night Network service will enter stations for pick-up and drop-off.
  • The Blue Night Network will run as usual with extra service in and around Islington Station every 15 to 30 minutes.

The TTC has several options for customers travelling to venues in and around Exhibition Place and Union Station.

  • BMO Field, Budweiser Stage, Coca-Cola Coliseum, Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place 

    BMO Field, 170 Princes’ Boulevard

    Budweiser Stage, 909 Lakeshore Boulevard West

    Coca-Cola Coliseum, 45 Manitoba Drive

    Exhibition Place, Enercare Centre, 100 Princes’ Boulevard

    Here are three ways the TTC can take you to these venues:

    • Option 1: Take Line 1 to Union Station, then board an eastbound 509 Harbourfront streetcar to Exhibition Loop and follow directional signage to the venues.
    • Option 2: Take Line 2 to Bathurst Station, then board a southbound 511 Bathurst streetcar to Exhibition Loop and follow directional signage to the venues.
    • Option 3: Take Line 2 to Ossington Station, then board a southbound 63 Ossington bus and exit at the Liberty Street and Atlantic Avenue stop. Head south on Atlantic Avenue and follow directional signage towards the venues.
  • Scotiabank Arena

    Scotiabank Arena, 40 Bay Street

    Here are two ways the TTC can take you there: 

    • Option 1: Take Line 1 to Union Station and follow the directional signage to the Scotiabank Arena.
    • Option 2: If you are travelling on bus or streetcar routes in the downtown core, the 510 Spadina, 19 Bay, 97 Yonge, 114 Queens Quay East and 121 Esplanade-River routes will get you to and from Union Station. From Union, Scotiabank Arena is a short distance south down Bay Street.
  • Rogers Centre

    Rogers Centre, 1 Blue Jays Way

    Here are two ways the TTC can take you there:

    • Option 1: Take Line 1 to Union Station. Exit the station and head west along the south side of Front Street West to Rogers Centre. Alternatively, you can take the SkyWalk indoor path connecting Union Station to the CN Tower and Rogers Centre.
    • Option 2: If you are travelling on bus or streetcar routes in the downtown core, the 510 Spadina, 19 Bay, 97 Yonge, 114 Queens Quay East and 121 Esplanade-River routes will get you to and from the venue. 
  • Service changes due to construction at King Street West and Dufferin Street 

    Until mid-November 2025, service has been adjusted on the 29/329 Dufferin, 929 Dufferin Express, and 503 Kingston Rd buses and the 304/504 King and 508 Lake Shore streetcars due to a major construction project at the intersection of King Street West and Dufferin Street.

  • Subway Service Changes

    On Friday, October 3, Subway service between Ossington and St George stations will end at 11:59 p.m. due to planned track work. Shuttle buses will operate.

    On Sunday, October 5, Subway service on Line 1 (Yonge-University), Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) and Line 4 (Sheppard) will operate all night for Nuit Blanche, with extended service between 1:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. Trains will arrive approximately every 15 minutes. 

    All subway stations will remain open overnight, and Blue Night Network service will enter stations for pick-up and drop-off.

    The following routes will experience diversions during this busy weekend:

    Saturday, October 4, 5 a.m. to Sunday, October 5, 1 p.m.  

    Saturday, October 4, 12 p.m. to Sunday, October 5, 9 a.m.

    Temporary route changes due to CIBC Run for the Cure

    Sunday, October 5, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    On Sunday, October 5, 944 Kipling South Express will run overnight between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m.

    Extra buses will be added to the 100 Flemingdon Park route for overnight service to the Aga Khan Museum art installations.

    HYROX Toronto

    Exhibition Place, Enercare Centre, 100 Princes’ Boulevard

    HYROX is taking over Toronto with world-class competition, electric energy, and a community that never quits!

    Here are three ways the TTC can take you there: 

    • Option 1: Take Line 1 to Union Station, then board an eastbound 509 Harbourfront streetcar to Exhibition Loop and follow directional signage to the venue.
    • Option 2: Take Line 2 to Bathurst Station, then board a southbound 511 Bathurst streetcar to Exhibition Loop and follow directional signage to the venue.
    • Option 3: Take Line 2 to Ossington Station, then board a southbound 63 Ossington bus and exit at the Liberty Street and Atlantic Avenue stop. Head south on Atlantic Avenue and follow directional signage towards the venue.

    All Things Go Music Festival

    Budweiser Stage, 909 Lakeshore Boulevard West

    Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5 – Doors open at 12 p.m.

    Here are three ways the TTC can take you to this music festival:

    • Option 1: Take Line 1 to Union Station, then board an eastbound 509 Harbourfront streetcar to Exhibition Loop and follow directional signage to the venue.
    • Option 2: Take Line 2 to Bathurst Station, then board a southbound 511 Bathurst streetcar to Exhibition Loop and follow directional signage to the venue.
    • Option 3: Take Line 2 to Ossington Station, then board a southbound 63 Ossington bus and exit at the Liberty Street and Atlantic Avenue stop. Head south on Atlantic Avenue and follow directional signage towards the venue.

    Nuit Blanche

    Locations across the city of Toronto

    Saturday, October 4, 7 p.m. to Sunday, October 5, 7 a.m.

    • Subway service will be extended between 1:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Sunday, October 5 with Line 1 (Yonge-University), Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) and Line 4 (Sheppard) operating overnight. Trains will arrive approximately every 15 minutes.
    • All subway stations will remain open overnight, and Blue Night Network service will enter stations for pick-up and drop-off.
    • The Blue Night Network will run as usual with extra service in and around Islington Station every 15 to 30 minutes.

    Scotiabank Arena, 40 Bay Street

    Here are two ways the TTC can take you to the concert: 

    Option 1: Take Line 1 to Union Station and follow the directional signage to the Scotiabank Arena.

    Option 2: If you are travelling on bus or streetcar routes in the downtown core, the 510 Spadina, 19 Bay, 97 Yonge, 114 Queens Quay East and 121 Esplanade-River routes will get you to and from Union Station. From Union, Scotiabank Arena is a short distance south down Bay Street.

    Sam Fender – People Watching Tour, 8 p.m.

    Coca-Cola Coliseum, 45 Manitoba Drive

    Here are three ways the TTC can take you there: 

    • Option 1: Take Line 1 to Union Station, then board an eastbound 509 Harbourfront streetcar to Exhibition Loop and follow directional signage to the venue.
    • Option 2: Take Line 2 to Bathurst Station, then board a southbound 511 Bathurst streetcar to Exhibition Loop and follow directional signage to the venue.
    • Option 3: Take Line 2 to Ossington Station, then board a southbound 63 Ossington bus and exit at the Liberty Street and Atlantic Avenue stop. Head south on Atlantic Avenue and follow directional signage towards the venue.

    Toronto Argonauts Vs Hamilton Tiger-Cats, 3 p.m.

    • Option 1: Take Line 1 to Union Station. Exit the station and head west along the south side of Front Street West to Rogers Centre. Alternatively, you can take the SkyWalk indoor path connecting Union Station to the CN Tower and Rogers Centre.
    • Option 2: If you are travelling on bus or streetcar routes in the downtown core, the 510 Spadina, 19 Bay, 97 Yonge, 114 Queens Quay East and 121 Esplanade-River routes will get you to and from the venue.

    Warren Zeiders: Relapse, Lies and Betrayal Tour, 7:30 p.m.

  • Sunday, October 5, 2025 

    CIBC Run for the Cure, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

    Starting point at University of Toronto, King’s College Circle (Front Campus)

    Join the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure, a breast cancer fundraiser that brings together communities across the country. Whether you choose to run or walk, your participation helps support all Canadians impacted by breast cancer.

    Here is how the TTC can take you there:

    Option 1: Take Line 1 to Queen’s Park Station, then head north on Queen’s Park toward the front campus building, follow the signage to the venue.

    Option 2: Take Line 2 to St George Station, then head south on St George Street toward Bloor Street West. Turn left towards King’s College Circle towards the Front campus.

    Toronto Blue Jays - American League Division Series - Game 2, 4:08 p.m.
