TTC Line 5

Effective Sunday, June 21, 2026, unless otherwise indicated, the following changes will be made to bus, subway, and light rail transit (LRT) service across the city. Updated information will be available on the Routes and Schedules page by June 21.

Schedule and service adjustments

Starting Monday, June 22, Line 5 Eglinton LRT service will be improved during the morning and afternoon peak periods on weekdays. Trains will operate every 3 to 4 minutes during these time periods.

Routing and schedule adjustments

The following routes will be adjusted due to construction, operational changes, or to improve connections between other routes:   

20 Cliffside 

Service on the 20 Cliffside will be adjusted in all time periods due to Metrolinx construction on the Birchmount Bridge over the Lakeshore East GO rail corridor.

With this change, 20 Cliffside buses will divert via Birchmount Road, Pinegrove Avenue, Aylesworth Avenue, and Highview Avenue in both directions. 

51 Leslie

Effective since April 20, 2026, routing on the northbound 51A Leslie (Donlands Station–Leslie Station) will continue to be adjusted in all time periods due to ongoing construction near the overpass on Leslie Street and Esther Shiner Boulevard / North York General Hospital.

72 Pape 

Service on the 72 Pape will return to its regular routing as Ontario Line construction progresses near Riverdale Avenue.

Southbound buses will operate on their regular route via Pape Avenue, Riverdale Avenue, and Carlaw Avenue.

No changes to northbound buses.

94 Wellesley

Effective since May 19, 2026, service on the 94 Wellesley will continue to be adjusted due to ongoing construction undertaken by the City of Toronto on Wellesley Street East between Jarvis Street and Parliament Street.

325 Don Mills

Regular service will begin on the 325 Don Mills as Ontario Line construction progresses near Riverdale Avenue.

With this change, 325 Don Mills will operate on its regular route via Pape Avenue, Riverdale Avenue, and Carlaw Avenue will resume.

Seasonal Service Changes

The following routes will operate with seasonal schedules and routing adjustments to support travel to summer destinations and changing travel demands:   

41 Keele

Service will be reduced during the midday and early evening period on weekday, and during most weekend periods due to reduced demand. 

Service will also be improved during early morning and afternoon peak periods on weekdays due to seasonal reductions on 941 Keele Express.

92 Woodbine South

Service on the 92 Woodbine South will be increased during early evening and late evening periods on weekdays due to higher seasonal demand at Woodbine Beach.

123 Sherway 

Service on 123B Sherway (Kipling Station – Long Branch via East Mall) will be removed and replaced with service on 123D Sherway (Kipling Station – Sherway via East Mall) in the morning and afternoon periods on weekends due to reduced demand.

200 Toronto Zoo

Seasonal service on the 200 Toronto Zoo will be restored on weekdays due to increased travel demand to Toronto Zoo during summer months.

Service will operate on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

Weekend and holiday service will continue to operate from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

201 Bluffer's Park 

Seasonal service on the 201 Bluffer’s Park will be restored on weekdays due increased travel demand to Bluffer’s Park during summer months. 

Service will operate on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. 

Weekend and holiday service will continue to operate from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Express bus route adjustments 

The following express routes will be suspended on weekdays during summer months due to reduced demand. Customers can use alternative routes listed below.

941 Keele Express – Customers can continue to use alternate service on 41 Keele.

944 Kipling South Express – Customers can continue to use alternate service on the 44 Kipling South.

945 Kipling Express – Customers can continue to use alternate service on the 45 Kipling.

968 Warden Express – Customers can continue to use alternate service on the 68 Warden

  • 989 Weston Express

    Service on the 989 Weston Express will be suspended in the early morning period on weekdays due to reduced travel demands during summer months.

    With this change, 989 Weston Express service in the afternoon peak period on weekdays will be adjusted to begin at 3 p.m. Customers can continue to use alternate service on the 89 Weston and/or 165 Weston Road North.

Holiday schedule

The TTC will operate on a holiday schedule on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 for Canada Day.

    FIFA World Cup 2026™ service adjustments 

    To support increased travel demand during FIFA World Cup 2026™, the TTC is increasing service, introducing temporary new overnight streetcar routes, and making routing adjustments near and around Toronto Stadium (at Exhibition Place) where tournament matches will take place. These changes are in effect from Sunday, June 7, 2026. 

    307/311 Bathurst 

    Bus service on the 307 Bathurst will be shortened to operate between Steeles Avenue West and Bloor Street West due to road restrictions on Fort York Boulevard during FIFA World Cup 2026™.

    Service on the 307 Bathurst between Bloor Street West and Exhibition Loop will be replaced by the new temporary service on the 311 Bathurst streetcar. 

    311 Bathurst streetcar service will operate between St Clair Avenue West and Exhibition Loop. 

    509/309 Harbourfront

    Service on the 509 Harbourfront will be improved to accommodate increased travel demand during FIFA World Cup 2026™ and to accommodate customers affected by shortening of the 510 Spadina route. 

    Service on the 309 Harbourfront route will be temporarily introduced and will operate between Union Station and Exhibition Loop.

    The 309 Harbourfront will replace service on the 509 Harbourfront in the early morning period on Sundays and holidays to provide continuous service until the start of subway service. 

    Streetcars will begin serving a new temporary stop at Fleet Hub located at Fleet Street between Fort York Boulevard and Strachan Avenue, replacing existing stops at Fleet Street and Fort York Boulevard (Stop ID #14508 and Stop ID #1409). 

    510 Spadina

    Service on 510 Spadina will be adjusted to only operate between Spadina Station and Queens Quay Loop to support increased 509 Harbourfront streetcar service during FIFA World Cup 2026™. With this change, service between Spadina Avenue and Queens Quay West and Union Station will be removed. 

    Customers continuing to Union Station can transfer to a more frequent 509 Harbourfront streetcar.

    511/311 Bathurst

    Service on the 511 Bathurst will be improved to accommodate increased travel demand during FIFA World Cup 2026™. 

    Service on the new temporary 311 Bathurst streetcar will be introduced during the overnight period to accommodate local road closures during FIFA World Cup 2026™. 

    Streetcars will operate between Exhibition Loop and St Clair Avenue West via Fleet Street and Bathurst Street. 

    Streetcars will begin serving a new temporary stop at Fleet Hub located at Fleet Street between Fort York Boulevard and Strachan Avenue, replacing existing stops at Fleet Street and Fort York Boulevard (Stop ID #14508 and Stop ID #1409).

    929 Dufferin Express 

    Temporary service will be added on the 929 Dufferin Express in the early evening period on Sundays with buses arriving every 8 minutes.

  • Long Branch Loop Construction

    With the start of the TTC construction at Long Branch Loop, service will be adjusted on the following routes:

    501/301 Queen

    501A Queen streetcar service will operate in the late evening period between Neville Park Loop and Humber Loop. Streetcars will continue to arrive every 10 minutes.

    Service on the 501C Queen will be suspended during this construction period. Service west of Humber Loop will be operated by the 507 Long Branch and 507M Long Branch replacement buses

    Overnight service on the 301 Queen streetcar will be shortened to operate between Neville Park Loop and Humber Loop.

    301L Queen bus replacement service will be introduced between Humber Loop and Dufferin Gate Loop via The Queensway, Park Lawn Road and Lake Shore Boulevard West. Buses will arrive every 30 minutes.

    507 Long Branch

    Service on the 507 Long Branch streetcar will be suspended and replaced by 507 Long Branch bus replacement service.

    507 Long Branch bus replacement service will operate between Humber Loop and Long Branch Loop via Lake Shore Boulevard West, Park Lawn Road and The Queensway. 

    Buses will arrive every 7 minutes during the weekday peak periods and every 8 to 10 minutes in off-peak periods.  Service will be extended into the late evening period to replace suspended 501C Queen streetcar service.

    507M Long Branch bus replacement shuttle service will begin operating between Humber Loop and Humber Bay Shores (Marine Parade Drive and Silver Moon Drive) via The Queensway, Park Lawn Road, Lake Shore Boulevard West and Marine Parade Drive.

    Buses will arrive 15 minutes during the weekday peak periods and between 20 and 30 minutes in off peak periods.

    Service reduction on the 508 Lake Shore   

    Effective Monday, June 8, service on the 508 Lake Shore will be removed in all time periods due to reduced demand during the summer months. Customers can continue to use the 501 Queen, 504 King, and 507/507M Long Branch as an alternative.

  • Why is TTC adjusting service? 

    Approximately every six weeks, the TTC adjusts service its bus and streetcar routes and subway lines. Some adjustments are minor, such as slight departure time changes, while others involve more significant changes related to construction work or route updates. 

  • When will the new schedules be posted?

    Customers can get real-time bus occupancy data and arrival information for the next three buses at their stop as well as the volume of passengers on those buses by using Transit, Transit Now or Track TTC on our website
