Take the TTC to Lunar New Year events across the city

A red and gold Lunar New Year greeting graphic featuring a decorative circular emblem with a stylized golden horse surrounded by lanterns and floral patterns. To the right, the text ‘Happy Lunar New Year!’ appears in English and multiple other languages, including Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Mongolian, Malay, Filipino, Thai, and Tibetan. A red lantern with a vertical banner displaying Chinese characters hangs on the right side. The background is patterned with traditional wave motifs and small floral elements.

As 2026 welcomes the Year of the Horse – which symbolizes freedom, movement, and courage – many communities across Toronto will celebrate this special time.

Whether you plan to ring in Lunar New Year by visiting loved ones, enjoying one of the many public celebrations taking place across the city, or savouring Toronto’s world-class Asian cuisine, the TTC is here to help you get where you need to go.
