Warden Station Commuter Lot - Parking Lot Reduction

Effective November 19, 2023

TTC’s Easier Access Program will make subway stations accessible to everyone. On November 19, 2023, the next phase of work will start at Warden Station. Warden Station’s bus terminal is slated to be completely rebuilt, with an entirely new bus terminal featuring plenty of natural light and accessible bus platforms.

Station modernization, upgrades and improvements will include:

Two new elevators which will connect customers between the Passenger Pick Up/Drop Off area (PPUDO), concourse level and subway platform at the station.
Improved signage and wayfinding throughout the station.
Constructing a temporary accessible bus terminal which is scheduled to begin service by mid-2026, and a new permanent accessible bus terminal, featuring 12 bus bays, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2027.

Traffic and pedestrian impact
Warden Station's South Parking Lot will be permanently closed effective November 19, 2023 to construct a new bus terminal. Customers should use the North Parking Lot.

The existing Passenger Pick-Up Drop-Off (PPUDO) area will be temporarily closed until the end of 2024. The new preferred PPUDO area is located in the North Parking Lot, with access from Warden Avenue.
