What we are doing and why:

As part of TTC’s plans to maintain a state of good repair and continue to modernize the system, the TTC is conducting work at St. Clair Station. The elevator connecting the concourse level to the Line 1 northbound platform will be out of service to conduct State of Good Repair - related work in this area.

Alternative accessible route information:

Line 1 northbound platform to south concourse:
Board a train to Eglinton Station. Cross the platform and board a Line 1 Vaughan via Union (southbound) train to St Clair Station.

South concourse to Line 1 northbound platform:
Take the elevator to a Line 1 Vaughan via Union (southbound) train. Board a southbound train to Summerhill Station. Use the elevators to access Line 1 Finch (northbound).

What to expect during construction work:

  • Noise, dust, and vibration associated with construction can be expected with this work. Efforts will be made to keep levels to a minimum.
  • Majority of the work will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. As permitted, some weekend and overnight work may be required during the course of this project for safety and efficiency.
