Line 5 Service changes due to LRT service extension and suspension of Line 5 Shuttle Bus
Effective May 3, 2026
Service on Line 5 Eglinton will continue to be extended to operate during the late evening on both weekdays and weekends.
LRT vehicles will continue to operate every 8–9 minutes on weekdays and Sundays, 7–8 minutes on Saturdays, and 11–12 minutes on holidays.
With this change, late evening service previously provided by the Line 5 Shuttle Bus will be removed.
In addition, travel times and operating speeds will improve across all periods as a result of transit signal priority enhancements between Kennedy Station and Don Valley Station, and improved operating conditions between Don Valley Station and Mount Dennis Station.
