Take the TTC as Canada men’s soccer team hosts friendlies at BMO Field

Canada’s men’s national soccer team is playing host to Haiti, Iceland and Tunisia in a series of friendly matches at BMO Field and the TTC can help you get to the action. 

The TTC will have enhanced service for all four matches taking place on Saturday, March 28 and Tuesday, March 31, with additional 509 Harbourfront replacement buses to and from Exhibition Loop, a short distance away from the stadium. 

Match Schedule at BMO Field

  • Saturday, March 28 at 1 p.m. – Canada vs. Iceland
  • Saturday, March 28 at 8 p.m. – Haiti vs. Tunisia
  • Tuesday, March 31 at 12:30 p.m. – Haiti vs. Iceland
  • Tuesday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m. – Canada vs. Tunisia

Getting to BMO Field


BMO Field

Line 1 (Yonge-University)
From Union Station
- Take the 509 Harbourfront replacement bus west to the Exhibition Loop and follow directional signage to the venue.
From King Station - Take the 504 King replacement bus west to the Atlantic Avenue stop, and head south towards the venue.

Line 2 (Bloor –Danforth)
From Bathurst Station
- Take the 511 Bathurst streetcar south to the Fleet Loop and transfer to 509 Harbourfront replacement bus to Exhibition Loop, then follow directional signage to the venue.
From Dufferin Station - Take the 29 Dufferin or 929 Dufferin Express bus south to the Dufferin Gate Loop and follow directional signage to the venue.

Subway closures:

Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth): Subway service on Line 2 between Kipling to Jane stations will be replaced by shuttle buses on Saturday, March 28 due to planned signal work.

Line 1 (Yonge-University): Subway service on Line 1 between Sheppard West to Lawrence West stations will end nightly at 11:59 p.m. from Sunday, March 29 to Thursday, April 2 for planned track work.

Streetcar diversion:

509 Harbourfront
509 Harbourfront streetcar service is suspended. 509 Harbourfront replacement buses will operate between Exhibition Loop and Queens Quay West and Spadina Avenue.

511 Bathurst
511 Bathurst streetcars will operate between Bathurst Station and Fleet Loop. Customers travelling between Fleet Loop and Exhibition Loop can transfer to 509 Harbourfront replacement buses.

  • Fares and Payment

    • Contactless Payment: You can pay your fare by tapping PRESTO card, a credit or debit card or mobile wallet.
    • Two-Hour Transfer: Your fare includes a two-hour transfer window. You can enter and exit the TTC system as many times as needed within two hours of your first tap.
    • Children Ride Free: Children 12 years of age and under ride the TTC free of charge. No PRESTO card is required.
