Important changes to 503/303 Kingston Road, 504/304 King and 508 Lake Shore streetcar service
Starting Sunday, May 11, 2025, until early September 2025, the TTC will be making several service adjustments to select streetcar routes due to TTC track renewal and City of Toronto water main replacement at King and Church streets. Here is what you need to know:
503/303 Kingston Road, 504/304 King and 508 Lake Shore streetcars will divert around the area of King and Church streets as follows:
Westbound streetcars will divert on Queen Street East, south on Church Street, west on Richmond Street, north on York Street, west on Queen Street West and south on Spadina Avenue.
Eastbound streetcars will divert on Spadina Avenue, east on Queen Street West, south on York Street, east on Adelaide Street, north on Church Street and east on Queen Street East.
Customers can remain on the streetcar which will divert as noted above or can board 304D, 504C or 504D King replacement buses.
504C King replacement buses will operate between King and Bathurst streets and the Distillery.
304D and 504D King replacement buses will operate between King and Bathurst streets and Gerrard Street and Broadview Avenue.
Helpful tips:
504 King streetcars will operate between Broadview Station and Dundas West Station and will not service the Distillery or Dufferin Gate Loop.
Customers travelling to and from the Distillery can board 504C King replacement buses at Front and Cherry streets.
Customers travelling to and from Dufferin Gate Loop can board 503 Kingston Road streetcars which will travel along King Street West, past its usual end point of Spadina Avenue and King Street, to Dufferin Gate Loop.
