Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth)–St George to Chester stations – Late-opening at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2026

Subway service on Line 2 between St George and Chester stations will be replaced by shuttle buses until 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 17 due to planned track work.

Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance. TTC staff will be available to assist customers.   

Bay and Sherbourne stations will be closed. All other TTC stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and to connect to surface routes.

Regular subway service will resume between St George and Chester stations at approximately 11 a.m. 

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early nightly and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
