Line 1 (Yonge-University)St George to Sheppard West stations – Nightly early closures – Monday, June 1 to Friday, June 5, 2026


Effective June 1, 2026 to June 5, 2026

Subway service on Line 1 between St George to Sheppard West stations will end early at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, June 1 to Thursday, June 4 for planned track work.

 

On Friday, June 5, subway service between St George to Sheppard West stations will end at 12:30 a.m. (early Saturday morning) to accommodate customers leaving the Luke Combs concert at Rogers Stadium.

 

Shuttle buses will be operating. TTC staff will be available to assist customers. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance.

 

Glencairn and Dupont stations will be closed.

 

Multiple entrances will be closed at:

 

  • Yorkdale Station – Ranee Avenue entrance will be closed.
  • St Clair West Station – Heath Street entrance will be closed.
  • Spadina Station – Kendal Avenue entrance will be closed.

 

All other TTC subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes.

 

Regular subway service will resume each morning at approximately 6 a.m.   

 

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early weeknight and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
