Spadina Station Line 1 & 2 Subway Ventilation Equipment Replacement - Noisy Preliminary Work

What we are doing and why

The subway ventilation equipment at Spadina Station Line 1 and 2 will be replaced as they have reached the end of their life cycle. As part of preliminary work, drains inside the ventilations at Spadina Road/Lowther Avenue and Spadina Road /Kendal Avenue must be cleaned. The cleaning involves the operation of a vacuum truck, which will power wash the drains.

What to expect

• Some noise is expected from this work.
• Public parking is not permitted in the preliminary work area.
• No additional impact on traffic or pedestrians .

   

Work Hours

Thursday, June 26, 7:00am to 7:00pm

TTC service

This work will not have impacts on the subway or bus services.
