King Station - Melinda exit closure

Effective September 22, 2023

What we are doing and why:

The TTC’s Easier Access Program is making subway stations accessible. Construction crews on behalf of TTC continue with construction work to make King Station accessible by installing three elevators. You can find more information at TTC.ca.

As part of this construction, crews will be closing the Melinda Exit/Entrance at King Station for approximately 2-months starting as early as April 14, 2025. By implementing this Closure, the construction work for a new stair, new elevator and new Presto gates will be expedited.
