Effective May 12, 2026 - 10:00 PM to May 17, 2026 - 12:00 AM

As early as Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 10 p.m., nightly work will be taking place to reduce construction hoarding and to conduct line painting on Queens Park, south of Bloor Street West until Sunday, May 17, 2026 (weather pending).

  • Traffic barrels will be in place to separate lanes after hoarding is removed and until lines have been painted.
  • All lanes of traffic (2 vehicle lanes and 1 bike lane in each direction) north of Queens Park Crescent will be opened following this work, except for the section between the northeast & southeast staircases (including the southeast staircase). This section will remain fenced off.
  • The sidewalk on the east side will be re-opened.
  • The hoarding on the west side of Queens Park and the pedestrian detour on the west side will remain (no impact to road traffic) and will be removed by the end of Q3.
  • Efforts will be made to keep disruption associated with noise and dust to a minimum
  • Access to subway service will be maintained throughout construction.
