Line 5 - Opening of LRT Service

Line 5 Eglinton will begin operation of Light Rail Transit (LRT) service between Kennedy Station and Mount Dennis Station.

Line 5 Eglinton will provide LRT service to 25 stations along the Eglinton Avenue corridor, connecting customers to 68 bus routes, Line 1 (Yonge-University) at Cedarvale and Eglinton stations and Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) at Kennedy Station.

Line 5 Eglinton LRT service will operate between 5:30 a.m. and 11 p.m. on weekdays, Saturdays and holidays. Sunday service on Line 5 will operate between 7:30 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Line 5 Eglinton LRT service will be replaced by shuttle buses nightly from 11 p.m. to 1:20 a.m. for extended maintenance and operator training.

Overnight service on Eglinton Avenue will be provided by 334 Eglinton.
