Nuit Blanche service adjustments


Starting Saturday, October 4, 2025

The annual Nuit Blanche all-night contemporary art festival is back from October 4-5 transforming Toronto’s downtown with immersive installations and performances.  

Nuit Blanche begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 4 and concludes at 7 a.m. on Sunday, October 5. The TTC is making it easier for you to travel to and from the festivities, with extended subway service across all three lines and additional surface route options.   

Here is what you need to know:

  • Subway service will be extended between 1:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 5.  
  • Subway service on Line 1 (Yonge-University), Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) and Line 4 (Sheppard) will operate all night. Trains will arrive approximately every 15 minutes. 
  • All subway stations will remain open overnight, and Blue Night Network service will enter stations for pick-up and drop-off. 
  • The Blue Night Network will run as usual with extra service in and around Islington Station every 15 to 30 minutes.
  • The 944 Kipling South Express will run overnight between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Sunday, October 5.
  • Extra buses will be added to the 100 Flemingdon Park route for overnight service to the Aga Khan Museum art installations.

Multiple road closures in the downtown core will be in effect from 12 p.m., Saturday, October 4 to 1 p.m., Sunday, October 5, 2025. 

The following routes will divert for Nuit Blanche activities: 

  • From 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 4 to 9 a.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2025

    • Buses will divert both ways via Park Home Avenue, Beecroft Road and North York Boulevard.
    • No service on Yonge Street between Park Home Avenue and North York Boulevard.

  • From 7:15 p.m. on Friday, October 3 to 5 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025

    • Buses and streetcars will divert both ways via Spadina Avenue, Queen Street West and McCaul Street.
    • No service on Dundas Street West between Spadina Avenue and McCaul Street.

    From 5 a.m. on Saturday, October 4 to 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2025

    Eastbound: from Dundas Street West, south on Bathurst Street, east on Queen Street West, south on York Street, east on Adelaide Street West/East, north on Church Street and east on Dundas Street East, to regular route.

    Westbound: from Dundas Street East, south on Church Street, west on Richmond Street East/West, north on York Street, west on Queen Street West, north on BathurstStreet and west on Dundas Street West, to regular route.

    No service on Dundas Street West between Bathurst and Church streets.
