Subway Service Changes
Line 2 – Early closure at 11 p.m. Friday, August 8 – Woodbine to Kennedy stations
Subway service on Line 2 between Woodbine and Kennedy stations will be replaced by shuttle buses starting at 11 p.m. on Friday, August 8, until the end of service at approximately 2 a.m.
TTC staff will be available to assist customers. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance.
Warden Station will be closed. All other stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes.
Line 2 – Late opening Sunday, August 10 – St. George to Chester stations
Subway service on Line 2 between St George and Chester stations will be replaced by shuttle buses between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., for structural maintenance. Subway service will start by 11 a.m.
TTC staff will be available to assist customers. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance.
Bay and Sherbourne stations will be closed. All other stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes
Line 2 customers wishing to travel downtown can take the following surface routes from the accessible subway stations listed below:
Dundas West Station – Board a 504 King streetcar or a 505 Dundas streetcar eastbound towards Broadview Station.
Bathurst Station – Board a 511 Bathurst streetcar southbound towards Exhibition.
Spadina Station – Customers can board a Line 1 train or a 510 Spadina streetcar southbound towards Union Station.
Broadview Station – Board a 504 King streetcar or a 505 Dundas streetcar westbound towards Dundas West Station.
Customers can also board a shuttle bus eastbound from St George Station or westbound from Broadview Station to connect with subway service on Line 1 at Bloor-Yonge Station.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early weeknight and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.

Bus and streetcar service changes
85/385 Sheppard East and 985 Sheppard East Express temporary diversions for Mega Blast Event – August 9 at 5 a.m. to August 11 at 5 a.m.
85/385 Sheppard East and 985 Sheppard East Express buses will divert both ways on Conlins, Ellesmere and Meadowvale roads.
Stops not served: Sheppard Avenue East between Conlins and Meadowvale roads.

Chinatown Festival

- Saturday, August 9 – noon to 11 p.m.

Heading to the event? The TTC can take you there!
- Option 1: Take Line 1 to St Patrick Station. From there, board a westbound 505 Dundas streetcar, or walk westward along Dundas Street for about 10 minutes to the intersection of Dundas Street West and Spadina Avenue, where you’re at the heart of the event!
- Option 2: Take Line 2 to Spadina Station. From there, take a southbound 510 Spadina streetcar the stop at Spadina Avenue and Dundas Street West in the heart of the event!
Dream in High Park – “Romeo & Juliet” - until August 31
High Park Amphitheatre, 1873 Bloor St WestDream in High Park returns for its 2025 summer run. Grab your family, pack a picnic and enjoy the production of the ever-popular “Romeo & Juliet.”
Nightly start times at 7 p.m. or 8 p.m., outdoor venue, weather permitting, running until August 31, 2025.

Want to attend the show? The TTC can take you there!
Option 1: Take Line 2 to High Park Station. From the main entrance, walk west to High Park Ave, then walk south to the lights at Bloor Street West and High Park Avenue. Continue through the lights, staying on the sidewalk to the left on Colborne Lodge Drive. Follow signage to get to the amphitheatre. In total, it is an approximately 20-minute walk to the amphitheatre from the station.
Option 2: Take the 501 Queen streetcar to the stop at the south side of High Park on The Queensway at Colborne Lodge Drive. From there, walk along Colborne Lodge Drive to the intersection at Centre Road where you will see the path to the amphitheatre.
Option 3: On Saturday and Sunday, the 203 High Park seasonal bus route will operate from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. between High Park Station and Colborne Lodge Drive. The last stop on the route is Colborne Lodge Drive at Centre Road where you will see the path to the amphitheatre.
Dusk Dances
Withrow Park, 725 Logan AvenueDon’t miss Toronto’s beloved outdoor dance festival running from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. every night until August 10. For more information on the 2025 season, visit the Dusk Dances website.
The TTC can get you movin’ and groovin’!
- Option 1: Take Line 2 to Chester Station. The park is about a 10-minute walk south from the station.
- Option 2: Take the 506 Carlton streetcar to the stop at Gerrard Street East and Logan Avenue. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the park.
Electric Island
Woodbine Park, 1675 Lake Shore Boulevard EastDive into the electric energy of as Electric Island temporarily converts the city's parks into the epicentre of electronic music. Catch all the Electric Island action this weekend at Woodbine Park.
- Friday, August 8 – beginning at 2:30 p.m.
- Saturday, August 9 – beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Here are a few ways the TTC can take you there:
- Option 1: Take a 501 Queen streetcar to Queen Street East at Woodbine Avenue. From there, it’s approximately a 7-minute walk to the park.
- Option 2: Take Line 2 to Woodbine Station. From there, take a 92 Woodbine South bus and exit at 1816 Lake Shore Boulevard East. From there, it’s approximately a 4-minute walk to the park.
- Option 3: Take Line 2 to Coxwell Station. From there, take a 22 Coxwell South bus and exit at Queen Street East and Kingston Road. From there, it’s approximately a 15-minute walk to the park.

- Option 1: Take Line 4 eastbound towards Don Mills Station. From there, board an eastbound 85 Sheppard East bus. Exit at the stop at Meadowvale Road and Sheppard Avenue East and you’re at the entrance to the event.
- Option 2: Take Line 2 to Kennedy Station. From there, board an eastbound 86 Scarborough bus. Exit at the stop at Meadowvale Road and Sheppard Avenue East, and you’re at the entrance to the event.
Please note: there will be a temporary route change on the 85/385 Sheppard East and 985 Sheppard East Express buses from August 9 at 5 a.m. to August 11 at 5 a.m. to accommodate the Mega Blast event.

- Option 2: Take Line 2 to Bathurst Station. From there, take a southbound 511 Bathurst streetcar to the stop at Bathurst Street and Fort York Boulevard. Then walk about 2 minutes west along Fort York Boulevard to the entrance.
Union Summer: various events throughout the summer

- Option 2: Take Line 2 to Ossington Station. From there, board a southbound 63 Ossington bus to the stop at Queen Street West and Shaw Street. From there, it’s a few minutes’ walk east to the southern entrance to the park.
- Option 3: Take a 505 Dundas streetcar to the stop at Dundas Street West and Shaw Street. From there, you’re at the northern entrance to the park.
Music in the Garden at the Spadina Museum – 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Heading to the concert? The TTC can take you there! Take Line 1 to Dupont Station. From there, the Spadina Museum is about a 5-minute walk north.
Celtic and Canadian: Lo & the High Road – 4:00 p.m.
Toronto Music Garden, Harbourfront Centre, 479 Queens Quay WestTake a journey across far-reaching worlds, both real and imagined. - Option 1: Take Line 1 to Union Station. From there, take a 510 Spadina streetcar and exit at Spadina Avenue and Queens Quay West. Then, it is approximately a 3-minute walk to the venue.
- Option 2: Take Line 2 to Spadina Station. From there, take a 510 Spadina streetcar and exit at Queens Quay West and Lower Spadina Ave. Then, it is approximately a 3-minute walk to the venue.
Christie Pits Film Festival – “Lady Bird” (sundown)
Christie Pits Park, 750 Bloor Street WestBring your blankets and chairs and gather together to sit on the berms at Christie Pits park and enjoy movies after dark Sunday from July 6 to August 24.
Concessions open at 6 p.m., showtime starts at sundown.
