TTC enhancing service in advance of FIFA World Cup 2026™, beginning Sunday, June 7
Starting this Sun., June 7, the TTC is increasing service on various routes in advance of the FIFA World Cup 2026™. The TTC is also introducing temporary overnight streetcar routes and making routing adjustments near and around Toronto Stadium at Exhibition Place where tournament matches will take place, and at Fort York National Historic Site and The Bentway for FIFA Fan Festival™.
Service adjustments
Bus service on the 307 Bathurst will be shortened to operate between Steeles Ave. W., and Bloor St. W., due to road restrictions on Fort York Blvd. during FIFA World Cup 2026™.
Service on the 307 Bathurst between Bloor St. W. and Exhibition Loop will be replaced by the new 311 Bathurst temporary streetcar route, which will operate overnight every 20 minutes every day of the week, between St. Clair Ave. W., and Exhibition Loop. Streetcars will serve a new temporary stop on Fleet St., between Fort York Blvd., and Strachan Ave.
Streetcar service on the 504 King will be increased on weekdays to accommodate the additional customers expected to be travelling along King St. during the FIFA World Cup 2026TM.
A new temporary overnight 309 Harbourfront streetcar service will also be introduced and will operate every 20 minutes between Exhibition Loop and Union Station. Streetcars will service a new temporary stop on Fleet St. between Fort York Blvd., and Strachan Ave. 309 Harbourfront streetcars will operate in the early morning period on Sundays and holidays to provide continuous service until subways begin operating.
Streetcar service on the 504 King will be increased on weekdays to accommodate the additional customers expected to be travelling along King St. during the FIFA World Cup 2026TM.
Streetcar service on the 509 Harbourfront will also be enhanced to accommodate increased travel on the route during the FIFA World Cup 2026TM, and to accommodate customers affected by the shortening of the 510 Spadina streetcar route. 510 Spadina streetcars will only operate between Spadina Station and Queens Quay Loop to support increased service on the 509 Harbourfront route during the FIFA World Cup 2026™. Customers continuing to Union Station can transfer to a 509 Harbourfront streetcar at Queens Quay and Spadina Ave. 310 Spadina streetcars will continue to operate between Spadina and Union stations.
Streetcar service on the 511 Bathurst will be increased to accommodate additional travel during the FIFA World Cup 2026 TM. Vehicles will stop at a new temporary location on Fleet St. between Fort York Blvd., and Strachan Ave.
The 929 Dufferin Express will also see enhanced frequency, with temporary bus service added on Sundays to ensure evening buses are arriving every eight minutes.

Service changes due to construction at Long Branch Loop
Streetcar service on the 501C and 301 Queen, and 507 Long Branch routes will be temporarily suspended west of Humber Loop as construction at Long Branch Loop begins. Streetcar service on the 508 Lake Shore route will also be suspended temporarily for the summer.
A 507 Long Branch replacement bus service will operate between Humber Loop and Long Branch Loop, via The Queensway, Park Lawn Rd., and Lake Shore Blvd W. A 507M Long Branch bus replacement shuttle will also be introduced and will operate between Humber Loop and Marine Parade Dr., via The Queensway, Park Lawn Rd., Lake Shore Blvd W., and Marine Parade Dr. Finally, a 301L Queen bus replacement service will be introduced and will operate between Dufferin Gate Loop and Long Branch Loop via Dufferin St., Queen St. W., The Queensway, Park Lawn Rd., and Lake Shore Blvd W.
