TTC announces extra subway service for Toronto Blue Jays ALCS games, details Thanksgiving Day Holiday Service
The TTC will run extra subway service on Line 1 Yonge-University and Line 2 Bloor-Danforth to help fans get around the city safely as they cheer on the Toronto Blue Jays this Sunday and Monday. With Union Station just steps away from Rogers Centre – taking the TTC is the fastest and most eco-friendly way to travel.
With the excitement building, the TTC is ensuring that everyone can get to and from the action as efficiently as possible.
- Additional subway trains will be running on Line 1 Yonge-University and Line 2 Bloor-Danforth, ensuring that fans can easily travel to and from the game.
- TTC staff will be on hand at Union Station to assist customers, answer questions, and manage crowds, ensuring a smooth experience for all travellers.
- If travelling on our bus or streetcar routes in the downtown core, the 509 Habourfront, 510 Spadina, 19 Bay, 114 Queens Quay East and 121 Esplanade-River routes will get you to and from the games.
Thanksgiving Day Holiday Service
On Mon., Oct. 13, the TTC will be running holiday service for Thanksgiving Day. All TTC routes will operate on a Sunday service schedule but will start earlier, at approximately 6 a.m. Any routes that do not normally operate on Sundays, will not run on Thanksgiving Day.
