TTC adjusting routing of 504 King replacement buses on Monday
Starting this Monday, June 2, 504C and 504D/304D King replacement buses will begin diverting around the King St. E and Church St. intersection to accommodate City of Toronto watermain work and TTC track replacement.
This routing change is happening earlier than planned due to a change in the City of Toronto’s schedule and will see buses divert via Jarvis St., Front St. (eastbound), Wellington St. (westbound) and Yonge St.
Existing diversions to the 503/303 Kingston Rd and the 504/304 King streetcars will remain as they are. The 504 King streetcar will divert both ways via Shaw St. and the 503 Kingston Rd. streetcar will continue to divert via Spadina and Queen, running west on King St. to Dufferin Loop.
Wheel-Trans service will remain accessible in all areas where local traffic is permitted.
As with all large-scale diversions, the TTC will monitor traffic conditions and service performance in real time and could make further changes as needed.
Updates to signage and stop pole notices along the route will be made in the coming few days.
The TTC is committed to keeping customers informed about work and events that impact service and about alternate routes. For the most up-to-date information, follow @TTCNotices on X or sign up for eAlerts.
Immediate changes about this diversion will be reflected at
