Important changes coming to Pape Station starting May 12

Starting Sun., May 12, until fall 2024, the bus terminal at Pape Station will be closed due to construction by Metrolinx. Metrolinx is building a new underground station that will connect the Ontario Line to Line 2 Bloor-Danforth.

Line 2 subway access at Pape Station will be maintained throughout the construction period, although there may be intermittent disruptions to service to accommodate tunnel work. The TTC will ensure that customers are informed in advance of any service changes and will make every effort to minimize the impact on riders.

During the closure of the Pape Station Bus Terminal:

  • 72A Pape and 72C Pape buses will be serving stops outside Pape Station. Wheel-Trans vehicles will also stop outside Pape Station, ensuring safe and convenient access to the station entrance.

  • 25 Don Mills and 925 Don Mills Express routes will divert to Broadview Station, serving the station bus terminal.

  • 72B Pape and 81 Thorncliffe Park routes will be suspended, with the 81 Thorncliffe Park route being replaced by an extended 72 Pape service.

  • A new route, the 114 Queens Quay East, will connect to the 72C Pape route, providing service between Union Station and Commissioners St., via Queens Quay East to George Brown College Waterfront Campus and through the Port Lands.

Changes at Broadview Station staring May 12

To accommodate a higher volume of buses servicing Broadview Station, the following adjustment will be made:

  • 8 Broadview and 62 Mortimer buses will relocate from the bus terminal to serving Broadview Station on-street, with extended service both ways to Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital.

  • 87 Cosburn, 100 Flemingdon Park, and Wheel-Trans will all continue to board and offload inside the Broadview Station bus terminal.

The TTC appreciates the understanding of customers during this period and is committed to providing clear communication about the changes. In addition information available on the TTC website and social media channels, there will be prominent signage at Pape and Broadview stations, and highly visible TTC staff available to assist customers.
