Long weekend diversions and upcoming service changes

There are no scheduled subway closures on the TTC this long weekend. The TTC will also be operating on a holiday service schedule this Fri., April 7. Customers can visit https://www.ttc.ca/routes-and-schedules/Service-details-and-holidays for more information and help planning their trip.

Certain TTC routes will experience delays or be diverting this long weekend, including:

On Fri., April 7, the 506 Carlton will be diverting between 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., to accommodate the St Francis of Assisi Church Procession. Customers may experience delays on the 505 Dundas due to the event.

On Sun., April 9, the 64 Main, 92 Woodbine South and 501 Queen will be diverting between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to accommodate the annual Toronto Beaches Lions Easter Parade.

Monday to Friday

Starting at 11 p.m., Mon., April 10 nightly through Thurs., April 13, subway service on Line 1 between Vaughan Metropolitan Centre and Pioneer Village stations will operate on a single-track. This will allow TTC crews to complete necessary upgrades on the opposite track.

The TTC will operate a subway shuttle train between Vaughan Metropolitan Centre and Pioneer Village stations. The subway shuttle train will run on the southbound track, while repair work is carried out on the northbound track.

Customers will board northbound trains on the southbound side of the platforms and may experience slightly longer than normal wait and travel times.

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and state-of-good-repair work.

The TTC is committed to keeping customers informed about work and events that impact service and about alternate routes. Customers are encouraged to visit ttc.ca and subscribe to e-Alerts or follow @TTCNotices on Twitter for more information.
