Service changes to select bus routes that connect to Line 5 Eglinton
In preparation for the opening of Line 5 Eglinton, service changes will be implemented on certain routes as part of the approved Line 5 Surface Network Plan.
On February 8, 2026, service changes will be implemented on the following routes to better connect customers to the Line 5 stations:

32 Eglinton West
Service on the 32 Eglinton West will be adjusted to operate between Mount Dennis Station and Renforth Station.
Line 5 Eglinton and the new 34 Eglinton will replace service along the Eglinton corridor between Mount Dennis Station and Kennedy Station.
Service on the 158 Trethewey will begin, replacing service previously provided by the 32C Eglinton West.
Service on the 73B Royal York will continue to operate, replacing service previously provided by the 32D Eglinton West.

35 Jane
Service on the 35 Jane will be adjusted to operate between Mount Dennis Station and Pioneer Village Station.
Service on the new 27 Jane South will replace service previously provided by the 35 Jane between Jane Station and Eglinton Avenue West.
Service on the 935 Jane Express will remain unchanged.

47 Lansdowne
Service on the 47 Lansdowne will be adjusted to operate between Caledonia Station and Queen Street West.
Service on the new 18 Caledonia will begin, replacing service previously provided by the 47 Lansdowne between Yorkdale Station and Eglinton Avenue West.

51 Leslie and 56 Leaside
Service on the 51 Leslie will be adjusted, replacing service previously provided by the 56 Leaside.
51A Leslie service will operate between Donlands Station and Leslie Station. 51B Leslie service will operate between Donlands Station and Don Mills, replacing service previously provided by the 162 Lawrence-Donway on The Donway.
With this change, service on Leslie Street north of Leslie Station to Steeles Avenue East will be replaced by the new 151 Leslie North.

54 Lawrence East
Service on the 54 Lawrence East will be adjusted to operate between Don Valley Station and Morningside Avenue/Starspray Boulevard.
Service on Lawrence Avenue East, Leslie Street, and Eglinton Avenue East, west of Don Mills Road, will be removed and replaced by adjusted service on the 34 Eglinton, 51 Leslie, 162 Lawrence-Donway, and Line 5 Eglinton.

71 Runnymede
Service on the 71 Runnymede will be adjusted to operate through Mount Dennis Station in both directions.

72C Pape
Service on the 72C Pape will service the bus terminal to pick up and drop off customers at Don Valley Station.

89 Weston and 989 Weston Express
Service on the 89 Weston and 989 Weston Express will be adjusted to operate through Mount Dennis Station in both directions.

91 Woodbine
Service on the 91 Woodbine will be adjusted to operate between Woodbine Station and Lawrence Avenue East.
Service on the 191 Underhill will replace service previously provided by the 91 Woodbine between Lawrence Avenue East and York Mills Road.

100 Flemingdon Park
Service on the 100 Flemingdon Park will be adjusted to end at Don Valley Station.
100A Flemingdon Park service will remain unchanged.
100B Flemingdon Park service will operate on a limited weekday schedule during peak periods between Broadview Station and Don Valley Station via Linkwood Lane. 100B Flemingdon Park will be replacing service previously provided by the 34C Eglinton East on Linkwood Lane.

162 Lawrence-Donway
Service on the 162 Lawrence-Donway will be adjusted to operate between Lawrence Station and Don Valley Station.
Service will operate in both directions on Barber Greene Road, Overland Drive, and The Donway West between Overland Drive and Lawrence Avenue East. Service on The Donway will be replaced by the new 51B Leslie.

191 Underhill
Service on the 191 Underhill will be adjusted to pick up and drop off customers inside the bus terminal at Don Valley Station.
Service will also be removed from the temporary on street stop previously located on Gervais Drive at Eglinton Avenue East.

954 Lawrence East Express
Service on the 954 Lawrence East Express will be adjusted to operate between Don Valley Station and Starspray Boulevard.
With this change, service on the 954 Lawrence East Express to Kennedy Station via Kennedy Road and Midland Avenue will be removed. Customers may continue to use alternative services provided on routes operating as part of the Line 3 Bus Replacement Service.

New bus routes connecting to Line 5 Eglinton and other stations
In preparation for the opening of Line 5 Eglinton, the following new routes will begin:

18 Caledonia
Service on the new 18 Caledonia will begin, replacing service previously provided by the 47 Lansdowne between Yorkdale Station and Eglinton Avenue West.
Service on the 47 Lansdowne will be adjusted to operate between Caledonia Station on Line 5 and Queen Street West.

27 Jane South
Service on the new 27 Jane South will begin, replacing service previously provided by the 35 Jane between Jane Station and Eglinton Avenue West.
Service on the 35 Jane will be adjusted to operate between Mount Dennis Station and Pioneer Village Station.
Service on the 935 Jane Express will remain unchanged.

34 Eglinton
Service on the new 34 Eglinton will begin, replacing service previously provided by the 32 Eglinton West and 34 Eglinton East between Mount Dennis Station and Kennedy Station.
Limited weekday peak period service on the 100B Flemingdon Park will also begin, replacing service previously provided by the 34C Eglinton East. Service on Linkwood Lane will no longer operate during off peak periods or on weekends.

151 Leslie North
Service on the new 151 Leslie North will begin, replacing service previously provided by the 51 Leslie between Leslie Station and Steeles Avenue East.
Service will continue to operate to North York General Hospital, serving the North York General Hospital – Main Entrance stop (Stop ID #14439) in the northbound direction after departing Leslie Station.

158 Trethewey
Service on the new 158 Trethewey will begin, operating between Keelesdale Station, Weston Road and Oak Street, replacing service previously provided by the 32C Eglinton West on Trethewey Drive.

334 Eglinton
Service on the new 334 Eglinton will begin to replace service previously provided by the 332 Eglinton West and 334 Eglinton East.
Service will also operate on 334A Eglinton and 334B Eglinton, with overlapping service provided on Eglinton Avenue between Mount Dennis Station and Kennedy Station. This change will reduce the number of transfers required for customers travelling along the Eglinton Avenue corridor.
Service will be added during the early morning period on Sundays to provide continuous service between Kennedy Station and Mount Dennis Station prior to the start of Line 5 Eglinton service.

Previously Announced Changes
These changes were implemented on October 12, 2025, ahead of Line 5 opening to help customers adjust to new travel patterns. All changes remain in effect unless replaced by the February 8 updates above.

13 Avenue Road
Service was adjusted to connect customers to Avenue Station.
Northbound buses now operate via Avenue Road between Chaplin Crescent and Eglinton Avenue West.
Southbound service has not changed. Buses continue to operate via Oriole Parkway. Customers can board southbound buses at stops on Eglinton Avenue West at Oriole Parkway, approximately 150 metres from the nearest Avenue Station entrance.

41 Keele
Service was adjusted to connect customers to Keelesdale Station.
Northbound buses now operate through the Keelesdale Station bus loop for customer pick up and drop off.
Southbound service has not changed. Customers can board and exit southbound buses at stops on Trethewey Drive and Keele Street at Eglinton Avenue West.

73B Royal York
Service was adjusted to connect customers to Mount Dennis Station.
Service was extended to Mount Dennis Station via La Rose Avenue, Scarlett Road, Eglinton Avenue West, Emmett Avenue and Jane Street. This resulted in new bus service in both directions on La Rose Avenue and Emmett Avenue.

74 Mount Pleasant
Service was adjusted to connect customers to Eglinton and Mount Pleasant stations.
Buses now operate between St Clair and Eglinton stations via St Clair Avenue East, Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East.
Customers can board and exit buses at stops on Eglinton Avenue East at Mount Pleasant, and at Eglinton Station.
Service north of Eglinton Avenue East is now provided by buses on the restored 103 Mount Pleasant North route.

88 South Leaside
Service was adjusted to connect customers to Laird Station.
Buses now operate between St Clair Station, the area of Thorncliffe Park and Laird Station.
Buses no longer operate on Wicksteed Avenue between Brentcliffe Road and Laird Drive, and on Brentcliffe Road between Vanderhoof Drive and Wickseed Avenue.
Customers can continue to board and exit buses at stops on Laird Drive at Vanderhoof Avenue, and on Eglinton Avenue East at Brentcliffe Road, approximately 275 metres from existing bus service in the area.

90 Vaughan
Service was adjusted to connect customers to Oakwood Station and Eglinton West Station.
Service was extended from St Clair West Station to Oakwood and Cedarvale stations via Oakwood Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West.
Buses no longer operate on Jesmond Avenue between Vaughan Road and Oakwood Avenue or on Oakwood Avenue between Jesmond Avenue and Vaughan Road.
Customers can board and exit buses at temporary stops on Eglinton Avenue West at Oakwood Avenue outside of Oakwood Station, and in the Cedarvale Station bus terminal.

103 Mount Pleasant North
Service will be restored on the 103 Mount Pleasant North route to connect customers to Eglinton and Mount Pleasant stations.
Buses will operate between Eglinton Station and Doncliffe Loop via Eglinton Avenue East and Mount Pleasant Road.
103 Mount Pleasant North buses replaced 74 Mount Pleasant Rd buses that previously operated between Eglinton Avenue East and Doncliffe Loop.

161 Rogers Rd
Service was adjusted to connect customers to Mount Dennis Station.
Buses now operate between Ossington and Mount Dennis stations via Weston Road and Black Creek Drive.
Service west of Weston Road to Jane Street at Alliance Avenue was removed and replaced by 171 Mount Dennis.
TRAVEL TIP: Customers wanting to continue westbound towards Jane Street have two options to transfer to a westbound 171 Mount Dennis:
- Exit at the Weston Road and Rogers Road stop and walk approximately 350 metres (4 minutes) to the Humber Boulevard and Weston Road stop.
- Continue past the Black Creek Drive and Weston Road intersection. Exit at the Keelesdale Road and Eglinton Avenue West stop (just west of Black Creek Drive) and walk approximately 200 metres (2 minutes) to the stop at the northwest corner of Black Creek Drive and Eglinton Avenue West.
Eastbound buses travel through Avon Loop to maintain a stop at the Weston Road and Rogers Road intersection.

164 Castlefield
This new route connects customers to Cedarvale, Keelesdale and Mount Dennisstations, and employment areas along Castlefied Avenue and housing developments on Roselawn Avenue.
Buses operate between Cedarvale and Mount Dennis stations via Keele Street, Ingram Drive, Castlefield Avenue and Marlee Avenue.

168 Symington
Service was adjusted to connect customers to Mount Dennis Station.
The route was extended from Avon Loop to Mount Dennis Station via Weston Road and Black Creek Drive.
Southbound buses continue to travel through Avon Loop to maintain a stop at the Weston Road and Rogers Road intersection.

171 Mount Dennis
Service was adjusted to connect customers to Mount Dennis Station.
The route was extended to Humber Boulevard, Alliance Avenue, Jane Street, Lambton Avenue and Rockcliffe Boulevard to replace service provided by 161 Rogers Road.
TRAVEL TIP: Eastbound customers wanting to go towards Ossington Station can exit at the Humber Boulevard and Weston Road stop, cross the intersection to the stop at Black Creek Drive and Weston Road to board an eastbound 161 Rogers Rd bus

941 Keele Express
Service was adjusted to connect customers to Keelesdale Station.
Northbound buses operate through the Keelesdale Station bus loop for customer pick up and drop off.
Southbound service was not adjusted. Southbound customers can board and exit buses at stops on Keele Street at Eglinton Avenue West.

Why are these changes being implemented on these specific routes?
With the opening of Line 5 Eglinton, many bus routes across the city are being adjusted to better connect customers with the new service. These changes aim to improve customer mobility by providing better access to new rapid transit, while leveraging new operational opportunities to ensure TTC resources are efficiently deployed.
This is the second phase of changes relating to the opening of Line 5 Eglinton, with the first phase having occurred in October 2025.

Customers can get real-time bus occupancy data and arrival information for the next three buses at their stop as well as the volume of passengers on those buses by using Transit, Transit Now or Track TTC on our website.
As part of a year-long pilot with Transit app, customers can also see scheduled and unscheduled bus and streetcar diversions live in the app.
