Spadina Station 85 Spadina Road Roofing Rehabilitation
About 85 Spadina Road
Also known as the Old Gash House, 85 Spadina Rd is a Spadina Station Line 1 entrance at Spadina Rd and Kendal Ave. It was built in 1899 and listed on the City’s Heritage Register in 1974. After the TTC acquired the building in the 1970s, it was converted into a station entrance in 1978.
Fun Fact: The Old Gash House was temporarily relocated from its foundation to its backyard, the subway structure was built, and the building was relocated to its new foundation.
