Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth)–St George to Broadview stations – Late-opening at 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2026
Effective July 26, 2026
Subway service on Line 2 between St George and Broadview stations will be replaced by shuttle buses until 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 26 due to planned infrastructure maintenance.
Wheel-Trans service will be available at request for any customer requiring assistance. TTC staff will be available to assist customers.
Here are alternative surface routes for customers to connect to Line 1 from Broadview Station:
Customers can take 505 Dundas streetcar to connect to TMU Station.
Customers can take 504B King replacement bus to connect to King Station.
Bay and Sherbourne stations will be closed. Yonge Street entrance to Line 2 at Bloor-Yonge Station will be closed. All other TTC stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and to connect to surface routes.
Regular subway service will resume between St George and Broadview stations at approximately 11 a.m.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early nightly and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
