line 2 (bloor - danforth)–St George to Broadview stations – Late opening on Sunday, August 24, 2025
Subway service on Line 2 between St George and Broadview stations will be replaced by shuttle buses on Sunday, August 24 between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., for structural maintenance. Subway service will start by 10 a.m.
TTC staff will be available to assist customers. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance
Line 2 customers wishing to travel downtown can take the following surface routes from the accessible subway stations listed below:
Dundas West Station – Board a 504 King streetcar or a 505 Dundas streetcar eastbound towards Broadview Station.
Bathurst Station – Board a 511 Bathurst streetcar southbound towards Exhibition.
Spadina Station – Customers can board a Line 1 train or a 510 Spadina streetcar southbound towards Union Station.
Bay and Sherbourne stations will be closed. All other stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early weeknight and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
