Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth)–Kipling to Jane stations – Full weekend closure – Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026
Effective October 10, 2026 to October 11, 2026
Subway service on Line 2 between Kipling and Jane stations will be replaced by shuttle buses on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11 for planned infrastructure work.
TTC staff will be available to assist customers. Wheel-Trans service will be available upon request for any customer requiring assistance.
The Grenview entrance at Royal York Station will be closed. All TTC subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes.
Regular subway service will resume on Monday, October 12 at approximately 6 a.m.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early nightly and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
