Subway service on Line 1 between Finch West and Sheppard West stations will operate on a single track starting at 11 p.m. nightly from Monday, October 20 to Thursday, October 23due to structural maintenance.
This will allow TTC crews to complete work on the opposite track while subway service continues on the other side of the tracks. Customers may experience delays of up to 15 minutes between Finch West and Sheppard West stations during this time.
Trains entering Finch West and Sheppard West stations may enter on the opposite side they normally enter on. Customers will be required to transfer trains at Finch West and Sheppard West stations to continue their journey.
TTC staff will be available on site to assist.
All TTC stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and to connect to surface routes.
Regular service will resume each morning at 6 a.m.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early weeknight and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
