Line 1 (Yonge-University)–St Clair to College stations – Full weekend closure – Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026
Effective September 19, 2026 to September 20, 2026
Subway service on Line 1 between St Clair and College stations will be replaced by shuttle buses on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20 for planned track work.
TTC staff will be available to assist customers. Wheel-Trans service will be available upon request for any customer requiring assistance.
Summerhill and Rosedale stations will be closed. The Dundonald Street entrance at Wellesley Station will be closed. All other TTC subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes.
Regular subway service will resume on Monday, September 21 at approximately 6 a.m.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early nightly and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
