Line 1 (Yonge-University)–St Clair West to St Andrew stations – Full weekend closure starting at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 20 to Sunday, March 22, 2026

There will be no subway service on Line 1 between St Clair West to St Andrew stations starting at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 20 to Sunday, March 22 for planned track work.
Shuttle buses will be running between St Clair West and St George stations. TTC staff will be available to assist customers. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance.
Dupont, Museum, Queen’s Park, St Patrick and Osgoode stations will be closed. The Kendal Avenue entrance at Spadina Station will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes.
Here are alternative surface and subway routes for customers to connect to Line 1*:
Customers can take Line 2 from Spadina or St George stations to connect to Line 1 to St Andrew Station.
Queen’s Park Station – Take a 506 Carlton streetcar eastbound to College Station.
94 Wellesley – The 94 Wellesley bus connects to Wellesley Station. This route operates between Ossington and Castle Frank stations.
St Patrick Station – Take a 505 Dundas streetcar eastbound to TMU Station.
Osgoode Station – Take a 501 Queen streetcar eastbound to Yonge Street and Adelaide Street West. From there, you have two options:
Option 1: Walk for approximately two minutes south to King Station.
Option 2: Walk approximately five minutes north to Queen Station.
*With the exception of College Station, all of the stations listed above are accessible.
Regular subway service will resume on Monday, March 23 at approximately 6 a.m.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early weeknight and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
