line 1 (yonge-university)–REVISED - St Clair West to St Andrew stations – Early nightly closure starting at 11 p.m. - Monday, February 9 to Friday, February 13, 2026
Effective February 9, 2026 to February 13, 2026
Subway service on Line 1 between St Clair West to St Andrew stations will end nightly at 11 p.m. from Monday, February 9 to Friday, February 13 for planned station work.
Shuttle buses will be operating. TTC staff will be available to assist customers. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance.
Dupont, Museum, Queen’s Park, St Patrick and Osgoode stations will be closed. The Kendal Avenue entrance at Spadina Station will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes.
Here are alternative surface and subway routes for customers to connect to Line 1*:
Customers can take Line 2 to Bloor-Yonge Station to connect to Line 1 to St Andrew Station.
Queen’s Park Station – Take a 506 Carlton streetcar eastbound to College Station.
94 Wellesley – The 94 Wellesley bus connects to Wellesley Station. This route operates between Ossington and Castle Frank stations.
St Patrick Station – Take a 505 Dundas streetcar eastbound to TMU Station.
Osgoode Station – Take a 501 Queen streetcar eastbound to Yonge Street and Adelaide Street West. From there, you have two options:
Option 1: Walk for approximately two minutes south to King Station.
Option 2: Walk approximately five minutes north to Queen Station.
*With the exception of College Station, all of the stations listed above are accessible.
Regular subway service will resume each morning at approximately 6 a.m.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early weeknight and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
