line 1 (yonge-university)–Sheppard-Yonge to College stations – Nightly early closures starting at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 5 and Wednesday, May 7, 2025 - REVISED
Effective May 5, 2025 to May 7, 2025
Subway service on Line 1 between Sheppard-Yonge and College stations will be replaced by shuttle buses starting at 11:59 p.m. nightly, until the end of service at approximately 2 a.m., on Monday, May 5 and Wednesday, May 7 for planned track work. TTC staff will be available to assist customers.
The TTC is delaying the start of scheduled track work on May 5 and May 7 to ensure fans leaving Toronto Maple Leafs games and celebrations have a seamless subway service. For those travelling after midnight, the TTC will be running a frequent shuttle bus service stopping at all stations along the route.
Lawrence and Summerhill stations will be closed during these times. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase PRESTO fares, tickets and connect to surface routes.
Extra Wheel-Trans buses will operate between Sheppard-Yonge and College stations for any customer requiring assistance.
