line 1 (yonge-university)–Sheppard West to Spadina stations – Nightly early closures starting at 11 p.m. on Monday, July 14 to Friday, July 18, 2025

Subway service on Line 1 between Sheppard West and Spadina stations will be replaced by shuttle buses starting at 11 p.m. nightly, until the end of service at approximately 2 a.m., from Monday, July 14 until Friday, July 18 for planned track work. TTC staff will be available to assist customers.
Glencairn and Dupont stations will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes.
Extra Wheel-Trans buses will operate for any customer requiring assistance.
Here are alternative surface and subway routes for customers to connect to Line 1:
Sheppard West Station – Take an 84 Sheppard West bus eastbound to Sheppard-Yonge Station.
Lawrence West Station – Take a 52 Lawrence West bus eastbound to Eglinton Station.
Eglinton West Station – Take a 32 Eglinton West bus eastbound to Eglinton Station.
St Clair West Station – Take a 512 St Clair streetcar eastbound to St Clair Station.
Customers travelling on Line 2 can connect to Line 1 at Spadina, St George and Bloor-Yonge stations.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early weeknight and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
