Line 1 (Yonge-University)–Lawrence West to St George stations – Nightly early closures starting at 11:59 p.m. – Monday, August 10 to Thursday, August 13, 2026

Subway service on Line 1 between Lawrence West and St George stations will end early at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, August 10 to Thursday, August 13 for planned track work.

Please note: On the nights of Tuesday, August 11 and Wednesday, August 12, subway service between Lawrence West and St George stations will end at 1:00 a.m. (early Wednesday and early Thursday morning) to accommodate customers leaving concerts at Rogers Stadium.

Shuttle buses will be operating. TTC staff will be available to assist customers. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance.

Glencairn and Dupont stations will be closed. The Heath Street entrance at St Clair West Station will be closed. The Kendal Avenue entrance at Spadina Station will also be closed. All other TTC subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes.

Regular subway service will resume each morning at approximately 6 a.m.   

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early weeknight and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
