Line 1 (Yonge-University)–Finch to Sheppard-Yonge stations – Full weekend closure – starting on Friday, September 25 at 11:59 p.m. to end of service on Sunday, September 27, 2026

Subway service on Line 1 between Finch and Sheppard-Yonge stations will be replaced by shuttle buses starting Friday, September 25 at 11:59 p.m. until the end of service on Sunday, September 27 for planned signal work.

TTC staff will be available to assist customers. Wheel-Trans service will be available upon request for any customer requiring assistance.

All TTC subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes.

Regular subway service will resume on Monday, September 28.

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early nightly and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
