line 1 (yonge-university)–Finch to Eglinton stations – Nightly early closures starting at 11 p.m. on Monday, July 7 to Friday, July 11, 2025

Subway service on Line 1 between Finch Sheppard West and Spadina stations will be replaced by shuttle buses starting at 11 p.m. nightly, until the end of service at approximately 2 a.m., from Monday, July 7 until Friday, July 11 for planned tunnel maintenance. TTC staff will be available to assist customers.
North York Centre and Lawrence stations will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes.
Extra Wheel-Trans buses will operate for any customer requiring assistance.
Here are alternative surface and subway routes for customers to connect to Line 1:
Finch Station – Take a 36 Finch West bus westbound to Finch West Station or take a 60 Steeles West bus westbound to Pioneer Village Station.
Sheppard-Yonge Station – Take an 84 Sheppard West bus to Sheppard West Station.
Eglinton Station – Take a 32 Eglinton West bus westbound to Eglinton West Station or take a 52 Lawrence West bus westbound to Lawrence West Station.
Customers travelling on Line 2 can connect to Line 1 at Spadina, St George and Bloor-Yonge stations.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early weeknight and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
