line 1 (yonge-university)–Finch to Eglinton stations – Nightly early closures starting at 11 p.m. - Monday, January 12 to Thursday, January 15, 2026
Subway service on Line 1 between Finch to Eglinton stations will end nightly at 11 p.m. from Monday, January 12 to Thursday, January 15 for planned tunnel work.
Shuttle buses will be operating. TTC staff will be available to assist customers. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance.
Multiple entrances will be closed for Sheppard-Yonge, York Mills and Lawrence stations.
The following entrances will be closed:
- Hullmark Centre and Poyntz Avenue entrances at Sheppard-Yonge Station.
- Old York Mills Road entrance at York Mills Station.
- Bedford Park Avenue and Ranleigh Avenue entrances at Lawrence Station.
All TTC subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes.
Regular subway service will resume each morning at approximately 6 a.m.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early nightly and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
