Travel on the TTC this weekend

The TTC is advising customers of several temporary service adjustments this weekend to accommodate planned infrastructure improvements, modernization work, and major city events.

Beginning Fri., Sept. 25, at midnight, until 6 a.m. on Mon. Sept. 28, there will be no subway service on Line 1 Yonge-University between Finch and Sheppard-Yonge stations while TTC crews replace track level switches near Finch Station, an important piece of infrastructure that allows trains to safely move from one track to another. Completing this work now helps maintain the safety and reliability of train movement in and out of Finch Station and supports more dependable service for customers.

Shuttle buses will operate frequently, stopping at each station along the route. Wheel-Trans service will be available; customers can speak with TTC staff for assistance. Both stations are fully accessible.

All subway stations will remain open for customers to load PRESTO cards, purchase PRESTO tickets, and connect to surface routes.
