TTC to keep Toronto moving all night for Nuit Blanche

As Nuit Blanche returns this weekend, the TTC is the best way to experience the art across the city. With no planned subway closures, extended subway service on select lines and extra bus service on key routes, customers can make the most of Nuit Blanche and seamlessly travel between exhibits throughout the night.

On Sun., Oct. 4, Line 1 Yonge-University and Line 2 Bloor-Danforth will remain open past the usual 2 a.m. closing time, so those attending Nuit Blanche can fully immerse themselves in the contemporary art celebration. Subway service on these lines will operate every 15 minutes from 1:30 a.m. until regular Sunday service resumes at 8 a.m. All subway stations on Line 1 and 2 will remain open all night, and Blue Night Network buses will enter stations to pick-up and drop-off customers.

Customers should note that subway and LRT service will continue to end at approximately 2 a.m. on Line 4 Sheppard, and approximately 1 a.m. on Line 5 Eglinton and Line 6 Finch West.

Customers travelling to the art exhibit in South Etobicoke can take the 944 Kipling South Express between Kipling Station and Colonel Samuel Smith Park Dr. Those going to the installation at the Aga Khan Museum, can take Line 5 Eglinton to Aga Khan Park & Museum Station, with service operating until 1 a.m. Customers travelling after 1 a.m. can take the 334 Eglinton East Blue Night bus along Eglinton Ave., or travel on the 100 Flemingdon Park route from Pape Station. Both the 100 Flemingdon Park and 944 Kipling South routes will have extended overnight service, operating from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Sun., Oct. 4.
