Weekend closure on Line 2 Bloor-Danforth between St George and Broadview stations

Subway service on Line 2 between St George and Broadview stations will be replaced by shuttle buses this Sat., Nov. 7 and Sun., Nov. 8 while crews replace bridge components that support the subway tracks on the Prince Edward Viaduct. Crews will also replace communication cables between Yonge-Bloor and Sherbourne stations and install new CCTV cameras at Broadview and Castlefrank stations to support enhanced safety and security measures.

TTC staff will be available to assist customers and answer questions, and Wheel-Trans service will be available upon request.

Bay and Sherbourne stations will be closed, along with the Yonge Street entrance to Line 2 at Bloor-Yonge Station. All other stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, buy a PRESTO Ticket, and connect to surface routes.

While the TTC does most subway maintenance after service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and state-of-good-repair work.
