Upcoming subway closures and streetcar service adjustments
Starting at 11 p.m. on Fri., Mar. 6, until 6 a.m. Mon., Mar. 9, there will be no subway service on the portion of Line 2 Bloor-Danforth between Victoria Park and Kennedy stations for planned track work.
A frequent shuttle bus service will run, stopping at each station along the route. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance. Customers can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.
Warden station will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to load PRESTO cards, purchase PRESTO tickets, and connect to surface routes.
Monday to Friday – Early nightly closures between St Clair West and King stations
Mon., Mar. 9, through Fri., Mar. 13, subway service on the portion of Line 1 Yonge-University between St Clair West and King stations will end nightly at 12 a.m. for planned station work.
A frequent shuttle bus service will run, stopping at each station along the route. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance. Customers can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.
Dupont, Museaum, Queen’s Park, St Patrick and Osgoode stations will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase PRESTO fares, tickets and connect to surface routes.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance after service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and state-of-good-repair work.
Service adjustments
- Starting at 11 p.m. on Tues., Mar. 10, until 4 a.m. on Thurs., Mar. 26, service on the 509 Harbourfront and 511 Bathurst and routes will be adjusted during streetcar infrastructure upgrades. 509 Harbourfront streetcars will run between Union Station and Fleet Loop only, while 511 Bathurst streetcars will be replaced by buses from Bathurst Station to Exhibition Loop.
- Tues., Mar. 10 and Wed., Mar. 11, 504/304 King streetcars will divert nightly between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. during TTC infrastructure work along King St. between Spadina Ave. and Dufferin St. Eastbound streetcars will run along King St. W., Dufferin St., Queen St. W. and Spadina Ave. Westbound streetcars will redirect onto Queen St. W. between Spadina Ave. and Roncesvalles Ave. Replacement buses will run from Sunnyside Loop to King St. E. and Jarvis St.
