The TTC is the best way to travel around the city this weekend


It’s going to be a busy weekend in the city and the TTC is ready to get you to and from your destinations safely.  

 

Increased subway service on Lines 1 and 2 

 

The TTC is increasing subway service on Lines 1 and 2 today, Fri., June 12 and tomorrow, Sat., June 13. Service on June 12 will operate past the usual 1:30 a.m. end time to ensure customers have a safe and reliable way home from the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ and the other events and activities happening across the city.  

 

Temporary route diversions 

 

The Taste of Little Italy Festival is happening this weekend and from 10 a.m. today to 3 a.m. on June 15, 506/306 streetcars will temporarily divert from College St., between Ossington Ave. and Bathurst St. in both directions. 

 

The following routes will divert for the Portugal Day Parade on June 13: 

 

  • 63 Ossington buses will not service stops on Oakwood Ave., between Vaughan Rd., and Davenport Rd., as well as on Davenport Rd., between Oakwood Ave. and Ossington Ave., from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. 
  • 512 St Clair streetcars will only operate between St Clair and St Clair West stations, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Customers can transfer to a westbound replacement bus at St Clair West Station. Buses will be following diversionary routing between St Clair West Station and Gunns Loop and will not operate both ways on St Clair Ave. W. between Christie St. and Old Weston Rd. 
  • 47 Lansdowne northbound buses will not service stops on Lansdowne Ave., between Davenport Rd., and St. Clair Ave. W., between St. Clair Ave. W. and Caledonia Rd., and between Caledonia Rd. and Rogers Rd. 

 

Free ride home for those attending Mumford and Sons at Rogers Stadium 

 

On June 13, concertgoers leaving the Mumford and Sons concert at Rogers Stadium can travel for free on Line 1 from Downsview Park, Sheppard West, or Wilson stations when they show their concert ticket to a TTC employee.  

 

For customers with accessibility needs, a dedicated shuttle service will operate between Wilson Station and Rogers Stadium before and after each concert.

 

Extra buses will be deployed on the 84 Sheppard West and 96 Wilson, and the 101 Downsview Park route will be extended to Sheppard West Station from 12 p.m. to 1 a.m., diverting via Sheppard Ave. and Keele St.
