Take the TTC this weekend


With the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and FIFA Fan Festival™ continuing, as well as many other events and activities taking place this weekend, the TTC is the best way to travel across the city. Customers are advised that the following service adjustments will be in place.

Increased subway service on Lines 1 and 2

The TTC is ramping up subway service on Line 1 Yonge-University and Line 2 Bloor-Danforth from Fri., June 19 through Sun., June 21, making it easier for customers to get around during a busy weekend in the city.

Enhanced service on the following surface routes

To help fans and concertgoers get to and from Toronto Stadium, FIFA Fan Festival™ and the RBC Amphitheatre, the following routes are operating with enhanced service:

· 504 King, 509 Harbourfront and 511 Bathurst streetcar service has been increased to operate every five minutes, to accommodate more customers travelling on these routes.

· 29 Dufferin/929 Dufferin Express buses are operating in dedicated transit lanes from Dufferin Station to Dufferin Gate Loop.

· 829 Dufferin Gate Express buses will provide non-stop service between Dufferin Station to Dufferin Gate Loop on Sat., June 20.

Temporary route diversions

There are several events happening in the city this weekend that will impact TTC service, including:

June 19-21

· 34/334 Eglinton buses will not service stops both ways on Eglinton Ave. W., between Caledonia Rd. and Dufferin St., from 7 a.m. on Fri., June 19, until 3 a.m. on Mon., June 22, due to the Fairbank Summerfest.

June 20

· 97A/B Yonge buses will end their trips at Eglinton Station, instead of St Clair Station, and the 97C Yonge buses will divert both ways from Yonge St. between Eglinton Ave. W. and Davisville Station, between 8 a.m. until 10 a.m., due to the Arraiá on Yonge event. During this time, buses will not service stops between Eglinton Ave. W. and Davisville Ave./Chaplin Cres.

June 21

· 300 Bloor-Danforth buses will divert both ways from Bloor St. W. between Spadina Rd. and Church St., from 4:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., for the Yorkville Exotic Car Show. During this time, buses will not be servicing stops along Bloor St. W. between Spadina Rd. and Church St.

The following routes will temporarily be diverted between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., to accommodate the Journey to Conquer Cancer:

· 13 Avenue Road buses will not be servicing stops southbound Avenue Rd., Queen’s Park, Queen’s Park Cres. W., Queen’s Park, and all stops south of College St.

· 94A Wellesley buses will not be servicing stops both ways between Spadina Ave. and Queen’s Park Cres. W., and Queen’s Park Cres. E. and Wellesley St. W.

The following routes will divert temporarily between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., for to the Ashura Parade:

· 13 Avenue Road buses will not service stops both ways on Avenue Rd. south of Davenport Rd.

· 94A Wellesley buses will also not be servicing stops on Harbord St./Hoskin Ave. between Spadina Ave. and Queen’s Park Cres. W., Queen’s Park Cres., and Wellesley St. W. between Bay St. and Queen’s Park Cres. E.
