Late opening on Line 2 on July 26 and temporary service adjustments to be aware of

This Sun., July 26, subway service on Line 2 Bloor-Danforth, between St George and Broadview stations, will start at 11 a.m. due to beam replacement on the Prince Edward Viaduct.

Shuttle buses will be operating frequently, stopping at each station along the route. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance. Customers can speak with TTC staff for assistance.

Bay and Sherbourne stations will be closed, as well as the Yonge St. entrance to Line 2 at Bloor-Yonge Station. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to load PRESTO cards, purchase PRESTO tickets, and connect to surface routes.

Temporary route diversions due to events and construction across the city

Beaches Jazz Festival

The following routes will temporarily be diverted nightly from 6 p.m. to midnight, July 23 to 25, due to the Beaches Jazz Festival

64 Main northbound buses will operate on Wineva Ave., Alfresco Lawn, Lee Ave, and Williamson R.

501 Queen streetcars will operate between Long Branch Loop and Kingston Rd. Loop. Streetcars will not service stops both ways between Kingston Rd., Neville Park Blvd.

Dream Wheels on Eglinton

34 Eglinton buses will divert both ways on Chaplin Cres., and Avenue Rd., between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Sat., July 25, due to the Dream Wheels on Eglinton event. Buses will not service stops on Eglinton Ave., between Chaplin Cres., and Avenue Rd.

OssFest

63/363 Ossington buses will not service stops along Ossington Ave. between Dundas St. and Queen St. from 6 a.m. on Sat., July 25, until 3 a.m. on Sun., July 26, due to Ossfest. Northbound buses will operate along Dufferin St., and southbound buses will operate on Bathurst St. during the festival.

Construction

26 Dupont buses will divert onto Bloor St. W. between Dundas St. W. and Symington Ave. until 7 p.m. on Mon., July 27, due to road work at Dupont St. and Dundas St. W.

82 Rosedale buses will divert along South Dr., Park Dr. Avondale Rd., Rosedale Rd. and Cresent Rd. from 7 a.m. on Mon., July 27, until 7 p.m. on Sat., Aug. 15, due to roadwork.

97C Yonge and 320 Yonge Night buses will divert beginning at 6 a.m. on Wed., July 29, until 6 a.m. on Sun., Sept. 6, due to sewer replacement at College and Carlton streets. Buses will operate along Jarvis St. between Wellesley St. E. and Shuter St.

501/301 Queen and 504/304 King streetcars will divert nightly, from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. July 27 to 29, due to streetcar infrastructure work at Broadview Ave. and Queen St. E.

501/301 Queen streetcars will operate along Dundas St. E. and Gerrard St. E. between Parliament St. and Coxwell Ave. 501/301 replacement buses will operate along Queen St. between Jarvis St. and Kingston Loop.

504/304 King streetcars will operate on Parliament St., Dundas St. E. and Broadview Ave. Replacement buses will operate from Broadview Station to King St. E. and Jarvis St.

Monday to Friday – Early nightly closures on Line 4 Sheppard between Sheppard-Yonge and Don Mills stations

Mon., July 27 to Fri., July 31, subway service on Line 4 between Sheppard-Yonge and Don Mills stations will end nightly at 11:59 p.m., for planned track work.

Shuttle buses will be operating frequently, stopping at each station along the route. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance. Customers can speak with TTC staff for assistance.

Bayview and Bessarion stations will be closed, as well as the automated entrance at Leslie Station. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to load PRESTO cards, purchase PRESTO tickets, and connect to surface routes.

While the TTC does most subway maintenance after service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and state-of-good-repair work.
