TTC boosts service for 2026 CNE


The TTC is increasing service to make it easier for customers to travel to and from the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) from Fri., Aug. 21 to Mon., Sept. 7.

 

During the CNE, the TTC will operate express shuttle buses from Dufferin Station and add service on routes serving Exhibition Place, including the 29 Dufferin, 929 Dufferin Express, 509 Habourfront and 511 Bathurst. Additional staff will be on hand at key locations and subway stations to assist customers with information and provide directions.

 

Getting to the CNE

 

Customers can connect to CNE service from the subway:

 

  • Line 1 to Union Station, then take a 509 Harbourfront streetcar to Exhibition Loop.

     

  • Line 2 to Bathurst Station, then take a 511 Bathurst streetcar to Exhibition Loop.

     

  • Line 2 to Dufferin Station, then take a CNE Express Shuttle, 29 Dufferin or 929 Dufferin Express bus to Dufferin Gate Loop.

 

Additional CNE Service

 

The TTC will operate dedicated CNE Express Shuttle buses providing non-stop service between Dufferin Station and Dufferin Gate Loop on a transit priority lane.

 

Additional service will also be provided on the 29 Dufferin, 929 Dufferin Express, 509 Harbourfront and 511 Bathurst routes to accommodate increased demand.

 

Due to road closures around Exhibition Place, the 329 Dufferin Night Bus will terminate at Dufferin Gate Loop, a short walk from the fairgrounds.

 

Service adjustments near Exhibition Place

 

During the CNE, 510 Spadina streetcars will operate between Spadina Station and Queens Quay Loop daily from 9:30 a.m. until midnight. After midnight, 510 Spadina streetcars will operate between Spadina Station and Union Station.

 

504B King streetcars will divert via King St. W., Dufferin St., Queen St., Shaw St. and King St. W., daily, between 9:30 a.m. and midnight.

 

The eastbound and westbound stops at Manitoba Dr. and Strachan Ave. will be out of service for the duration of the CNE. Customers travelling westbound can exit the streetcar at the Fleet St. and Fort York Blvd. stop and walk to the Princes’ Gate or stay on the streetcar into Exhibition Loop. Customers travelling eastbound can board a streetcar at Exhibition Loop, or head east and board at Fleet St. and Fort York Blvd.
