Upcoming subway closures and service adjustments

This Sat., Apr. 25 only, there will be no subway service on the portion of Line 2 Bloor-Danforth between Kipling and Jane stations for planned signal work.

A frequent shuttle bus service will run, stopping at each station along the route. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance. Customers can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.

The Grenview Blvd. entrance at Royal York Station will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase PRESTO fares, tickets and connect to surface routes.

Khalsa Day Parade

The TTC is ramping up service on Sun., Apr. 26, adding extra trains on Lines 1 and 2 and additional streetcars on the 509 Harbourfront to support the large crowds expected for the downtown Khalsa Day Parade. Road closures tied to the event will require detours on several bus and streetcar routes. To stay ahead of any disruptions, customers are strongly encouraged to check the TTC website for detailed information on route changes and schedules.

The following routes will be affected between 12 and 4 p.m.:

503 Kingston Rd
504 King
19 Bay
97C Yonge
114 Queens Quay East
121 Esplanade- River

Service adjustments

Until 4 a.m. on Sat., Apr. 25, 505/305 Dundas streetcars are running along Ossington Ave. and College St. during road work. Replacement buses are operating between Dundas West Station and Dundas St. W. and Bathurst St.

Nightly, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., on Thurs., Apr. 23 to Sat., Apr. 25, 511 Bathurst streetcars will run along Spadina Ave., between College St. and King St. W. during road painting. Replacement buses will run from Bathurst Station to Exhibition Loop.
Between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Fri., Apr. 24, 121 Esplanade River buses will redirect during filming along Church St. between Front St. and The Esplanade.
Starting at 7 p.m. on Fri., Apr. 24, until 4 a.m. on Mon., Apr. 27, 506/306 Carlton streetcars will redirect onto McCaul St., Dundas St., Broadview Ave., Queen St. E. and Coxwell Ave. during streetcar track work. Replacement buses will run between Bathurst and Coxwell stations via College St. and Gerrard St.
Beginning at 8 a.m., until 2 p.m. on Sat., Apr. 25, 91 Woodbine southbound buses will divert via Sloane Ave., Elvaston Dr., Victoria Park Ave., Jonesville Cres., Eglinton Ave. E. and Bermondsey Rd. due to a crane lift.
From 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Sun., Apr. 26, buses will replace 506/306 Carlton streetcars between Spadina Ave. and Parliament St. to accommodate TTC infrastructure work. During this time, streetcars will divert via Dundas St.
On Sun., Apr. 26, from 5:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., the 13 Avenue Road, 19 Bay, 94 Wellesley and 506 Carlton replacement buses will divert during the Toronto Bumrun.
