TTC prepares for World Series grand finale
With the World Series returning to Toronto tomorrow night, TTC is stepping up to keep the city moving. Extra subway service will be in place to help fans get to Rogers Centre and enjoy watch parties and events across the City.

To help fans travel quickly and safely, additional subway service will be running on Line 1 Yonge-University (10 extra trains) and Line 2 Bloor-Danforth (six extra trains), and on downtown streetcar routes where possible. The extra service will be in place for Games 6 and 7 (if necessary). There will also be extra TTC staff at Union Station and other key downtown core hubs to assist customers.

The previously planned subway closures on Friday and over the weekend have been postponed to a later date.

The TTC will also monitor Series-deciding games and may need to adjust downtown bus and streetcar routes in the core to ensure service continuity. This could include diversions or short turns to avoid crowded streets. Any changes will be shared in real time via ttc.ca and @ttcnotices on X.

Similarly, if there are any post-World Series events, the TTC will notify customers of any service impacts.

The TTC is committed to keeping customers informed about work and events that impact service, as well as alternate route options. For the most up-to-date information, follow @TTCNotices on X or sign up for eAlerts.
