Upcoming subway closures and service adjustments
The TTC is advising customers of upcoming weekend subway closures on both Line 1 and Line 2, and service adjustments as a result of road closures for construction projects and events being held in the city.
Full weekend closure – Line 1 between St Clair West and St Andrew stations
This Sat., June 21 and Sun., June 22, there will be no subway service on the portion of Line 1 Yonge-University between St Clair West and St Andrew stations to accommodate planned track work and station upgrades.
A frequent shuttle bus service will run, stopping at each station along the shuttle route. Extra Wheel-Trans buses will operate between St Clair West and St Andrew stations for any customer requiring assistance.
Dupont, Museum, Queen’s Park, St Patrick and Osgoode stations will be closed during this time. All other subway stations will remain open during the closure for customers to purchase PRESTO fares, tickets and connect to surface routes.
Full weekend closure – Line 2 between Kipling and Islington stations
Also on Sat., June 21 and Sun., June 22, there will be no subway service on the portion of Line 2 Bloor-Danforth between Kipling and Islington stations to accommodate planned signal upgrades.
A frequent shuttle bus service will run, stopping at each station along the shuttle route. Extra Wheel-Trans buses will operate between Kipling and Royal York stations for any customer requiring assistance as Islington Station is not currently accessible.
