Upcoming subway closures and service adjustments
This Sat., Jun. 14 only, there will be no subway service on the portion of Line 2 Bloor-Danforth between Jane and Keele stations to accommodate planned signal upgrades.
A frequent shuttle bus service will run, stopping at each station along the shuttle route. Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.
Runnymede and High Park stations will be closed during this time. All other subway stations will remain open during the closure for customers to purchase PRESTO fares, tickets and connect to surface routes.
Monday to Friday – Early nightly subway closure between St Clair West and St Andrew stations
Mon., Jun. 16, through Fri., Jun. 20, subway service on the portion of Line 1 Yonge-University between St Clair West and St Andrew stations will end nightly at 11 p.m. for planned track work.
A frequent shuttle bus service will run, stopping at each station along the route. Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.
Dupont, Museum, Queen’s Park, St Patrick and Osgoode stations will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase PRESTO fares, tickets and connect to surface routes.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance after service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and state-of-good-repair work.
Events
- From 3 p.m. on Fri., Jun. 13, until 3 a.m. on Mon., Jun. 16, 506/306 Carlton streetcars will divert onto Dundas St. between Ossington Ave. and Bathurst St. during the Taste of Little Italy festival.
- On Sat., Jun. 14, from 4 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., the 80 Queensway route will divert onto Roncesvalles Ave. between Howard Park Ave. and The Queensway to accommodate the Under Amour Toronto Waterfront 10K race.
- From 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sun., Jun. 15, 102 Markham Road buses will divert onto Wootten Way North between Parkway Ave. and Highway 7 during Markham Cycling Day.
Construction
- Until 7 a.m. on Sun., Jun. 22, the 87 Cosburn route is diverting westbound during sidewalk and road repairs at Cosburn Ave. and Oak Park Ave. Westbound buses are running via Westlake Ave., Hamstead Ave., Everett Cres., Oak Park Ave. and Cosburn Ave.
- Until 7 a.m. on Sat., Jul. 26, the 121 Esplanade River eastbound buses are not servicing stops along The Esplanade while City of Toronto crews install bike lanes. Eastbound buses are running along Front St. between Church St. and Princess St.
- Until 7 a.m. on Sat., Aug. 16, the 94 Wellesley route is diverting eastbound to accommodate City of Toronto bike lane installation on Harbord St. Eastbound buses are redirecting onto Bloor St. and Spadina Ave.
- From 11 p.m. tonight, until 5 a.m. tomorrow, and from 8 p.m. on Fri., Jun. 13 until 5 a.m. Sat., June 14, the 512/312 St Clair, 33 Forest Hill, 90 Vaughan and 126 Christie routes will divert to accommodate TTC infrastructure work and city sewer repairs along St Clair Ave.
